Labor Day in the US was the first of the Monday Holidays starting in 1894

Canada also observes Labor Day on the first Monday in September that isn’t the 1st. Most countries observe their labor movements on 1 May, but that’s another story. Well, wherever you are north of the equator, fall approaches…and in the US, so does Election Day, which can’t get here fast enough for me…
